Adobo Festival Held in San Francisco Aug. 23rd
More than 11,000 people attended the free Adobo Festival in San Francisco on August 23rd and 24th, and Luxor Cabs was on hand to provide transportation to all the fun events!
The Adobo Festival is a multi-cultural event that is held at various locations in the Bay Area each year. With free admission and a wide range of activities, more than 11,000 people attend annually! This year’s event was held at Kennedy Park in Hayward and featured non-stop entertainment from local Bay Area talent.
Activities included the Adobo Cook-Off Contest in which different Filipino restaurants and individuals were invited to compete by preparing traditional Filipino dishes, a Kiddie Pop Star Competition, a Filipino Bazaar and kiddie games. With two days of great entertainment from local performers as well as famous Filipino singers invited from the Philippines to entertain the crowd, the music was unsurpassed. Everyone enjoyed the events for another year of great fun!
